it’s really silly that I believe that there’s very much a shade of gray in the spectrum of sexuality

and yet here I am feeling almost insulted by men who wear this shade of gray on their face and yet never talk about it

like if you would stop living in a world where the stigma of masculinity matters and be true to yourself you’d have the respect of people on both ends of the spectrum

but I literally translate it as a lack of self-respect and it’s really difficult to respect someone like that

and it hasn’t always been like that

but I’ve put trust in people who keep those sorts of secrets and been burned so I guess my distaste runs a bit deeper

it just almost insults me that people who are massive closet cases friend request me on facebook and I just have to sit here pretending I don’t know why you’re doing this when you and I really don’t know each other and come from two completely different walks of life

but perhaps the most frustrating part of it all is how powerless I’d feel if I were in their shoes because I’ve felt like that despite having absolutely amazing people in my life who love and support me regardless of my sexuality or situation

it just really fucking irks me that their bottled up insecurities manifest themselves in dishonesty, duplicity and in extreme cases, manipulation

and it really sucks that you think of someone as something to admire or respect, and despite the fact that I hate stereotyping people or shoehorning them this has happened every single time without fail and you can’t help but generalize

but anyway, I’m done being bigoted and opinionated.
